Dobor Fortress
Dobor stands on the left bank of the Bosna, approximately four kilometres upstream from Modriča. The municipality identifies Ivaniš Horvat as the builder of the two-tower fortress in 1387–1388. Its strategic position brought repeated attacks and changes of control. Excavation also identified older occupation layers, so the medieval ruins sit within a much longer archaeological landscape. Dobor and Doboj are separate fortresses along the same river corridor.
