Kamičak Fortress
Kamičak stands above the left bank of the Sana downstream from Ključ. The Una–Sana heritage institute dates its origin to the late Middle Ages and records Ottoman expansion and service within the Ključ captaincy. A permanent garrison remained until 1824; the site was deserted before 1833. The institute’s photographs show heavily weathered, roofless stonework. This is the Bosnian Kamičak, distinct from the Croatian castles of the same name.
