Podzvizd Fortress
The hilltop fortress appears in records in 1389. Successive changes enlarged its defensive core and outer enclosure. Eighteenth-century repairs supported an Ottoman frontier garrison; a battle near Podzvizd in 1845 involved forces commanded by Josip Jelačić.

Faceted keep
A masonry mantle changed the circular core to sixteen sides. The published base diameter is 18.5m; the surviving-height profile is estimated.
Southern gate
The later gate supported a wooden mosque. This study shows masonry remains and omits the lost timber building.
Pašića tower
The northern tower has an octagonal plan. Its upper storeys are not reconstructed.
