Yellow Bastion
Žuta tabija occupies the Jekovac cliff above Sarajevo. The tourism board identifies it as one of the forts forming the defensive circuit of Vratnik. Its broad artillery platform and ramparts belong to a different military tradition from the narrow medieval keeps elsewhere in the atlas. The surrounding neighbourhood and city views are central to its setting.
