Havala Fortress

Havala stands above the right bank of the Una opposite Ostrovica. The national park includes it in the Ostrovica captaincy network. Kreševljaković dates construction to Ahmed III’s reign, 1703–1730, and describes a quadrilateral enclosure with two artillery platforms. Its broken walls remain a record of the smaller forts guarding this crossing.

Broken curtain passage

The national park photograph records substantial broken masonry. This arched passage is an interpretation of the ruin, with an estimated location and dimensions.

The historical account records two artillery platforms. Their low forms and placement in this study are illustrative, not a current architectural survey.

The site boundary follows OSM way 237898195. The sparse court keeps focus on the smaller Ottoman fort facing Ostrovica across the Una.
