Zvečaj Fortress
Zvečaj overlooks the Vrbas south of Banja Luka. Hrvoje Vukčić issued a document here in 1404; King Stjepan Ostojić confirmed Dubrovnik's privileges here in 1419. The surviving complex includes a citadel, descending curtains and a tower. It changed hands during the Ottoman and Hungarian frontier struggles.

Architecture & evidence
Surviving tower
The tourism organisation records a tower surviving to approximately ten metres. This study shows an uneven open shell rather than a complete roofed keep.
Long ridge footprint
The narrow outer alignment follows the mapped OSM ruin polygon. Broken walls mark the site without asserting that the complete perimeter still stands.
Descending defenses
The fortress included defenses descending toward the Vrbas. Here only a short wall remnant indicates that relationship; the lost circuit is not reconstructed.
